I have some Shepards in my database. They were in Plano,Texas, however, they are connected into a family with ties to Hinds County, MS.

I have a Lewis W. Shepard, b. 1838 VA married to a Mary Ann Huffman, b. KY.

Lewis W. Shepard was the son of William P. Shepard and Eliza Dick

I may have been only happenstance that this Lewis W. Shepard married into a Cabeen descendant of Hinds County, Mississippi but you never know.

I'll do some more searching your names with mine and see what I find.
