I am searching for relatives, and/or information that would assist my search for African-American relatives in Hinds and Rankin Counties of Mississippi, primarily in Jackson. Years of habitation there were the mid- 1800s through the 1920's. John and Rachel Fortner had three children, Hattie, Nealie and a son. Hattie married Henry Moore. Some of the family migrated to Indianapolis around 1917.

Mollie and Ephraim Spann lived in Pelahatchie and Jackson. MS.
