Classification: Query
Surnames: Brannan, Mason, Byrd
I recently recieved Samuel Rishon Brannan's military file from National Archives. Included in the file along with his widow's War of 1812 Pension Application was an affidavit by James & Robert Byrd filed in the Mobile County AL courts as a proof of death of Samuel Rishon Brannan.
This affidavit states that Samuel R. Brannan was buried at the Hannah-Brannan "Graveyard" and that they helped with the burial.
I am looking for the Hannah-Brannan Cenetery. Please contact me if you have information pertaining to this burial site or conections to the Brannan lineage.
Samuel Rishon Brannan was born in 1792 Fairfield County, SC, died 10/15/1868 Mobile County, AL. Married Celah "Seely" Mason on 9/5/1822 Mobile County, AL.
Marriage Application mentions Thomas Brannan, and looking for connection of Samuel R. Brannan & Thomas Brannan also.
Thanks in advance for any information you may have.
