my grand father is eugene dauphis rosson he is the son of henry rosson and hattie belle hudson.henry rosson was born in 1881 in mississippi and hattie belle hudson was born in 1888 in mississippi and i found a marriage record on them in green county mississippi and my grand father eugene dauphis rosson lived in green county leaksville mississippi.and i would like to know henry rosson's parents and hattie belle hudson's parent's.

I searched the Census Records from 1880 forward for Greene Co., MS and found Henry and Hattie living in Greene Co., MS in 1920 between the families of William and Ida Hudson and Lorenzo and Olivia Hudson. That made me think that perhaps Hattie was a sister to Wm. and Lorenzo. Therefore, I checked for other census records for Wm. and Lorenzo. I found the following in the US Federal Census for Beat 3, Greene Co., MS taken on June 16, 1900.

I failed to find Belle and her family in the 1880 Census records in either Alabama or MS.

yes that is them and i've recently learned hattie belle hudson's mother's name is lucretia belle lucas there's one record that show's that she is a widow so i'm tring to find hattie's father's name if i could just find a birth record can you please help me.

Birth records for both AL and MS were not officially recorded as early as 1870 so you're not likely to find a record except in a family Bible. However, I did find the following in the 1880 Census for Beat 4 of Washington Co., AL, which borders Greene Co., MS.
