ELINOR HOWELL, 61, of Wade, Ms., died June 23, 2003 in Mobile, AL. She was born on September 2, 1941, in Springerville, Ark. MRS. HOWELL was a memebr of Caswell Springs United Methodist Church and a retired teacher with the East Central School District. She was preceded in death by her mother, EDNA MAE GERRED; and a brother, DONALD GERRED.
Survivors include her husband, BEN HOWELL, of Wade; three sons, JAMES HOWELL, of Wade, JEFFERY HOWELL, of Oxford, MS., JONATHAN HOWELL, of Wade; father, DON L. GERRED of Oxford, MS.; three brothers, FRANK GERRED of Lexington Park, MD.; BILL GERRED, of Washington, DC.; GENE CULLEN of Oxford, MS.; and three grandchildren.
The Rev. Jim Fisher will conduct a memorial service for MRS. HOWELL, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 26, at Caswell Springs United Methodist Church, Wade, MS.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Jackson County Funeral Services, Escatawpa, MS.
