Jasper Choate 6, Mary 4, John 1 and Nancy 5/12 were living with their parents John Choate 26 TN and Malinda 23 Alabama on the 1870 Census in Desoto Co., Mississippi.
1880 these children, except for Nancy, were living with John T and Elizabeth Pullin family as grandchildren.
I assume, which we do not do in genealogy, that Malinda was a Pullin.
Any help with the Choate - Pullin connection would be appreciated.

There is a Thomas Kyle Choate who married widow Ellen Kelly 28 Dec 1869 which is in my line. They are on the 1880 census Mississippi and then came to Texas.
