Can anyone tell me if this cemetery is still being used and if there is a contact for burials?
We were told in 1990 that GG grandfather died in Georgia, funeral was in Memphis and he was buried just over the state line. I finally located a record showing the burial was at Hinds Chapel Cemetery. Find-a-grave appears to have a full listing of the cemetery, but he is not listed, although his sister who died a year later is. It's possible that a headstone was never placed so I am hoping to find someone to contact about burials without a headstone.
