In the 1850 census for Newton County, MS, William is listed as Alexander. Then in the 1860 census for Newton he and Catherine are living with some woman named Margaret? I can't make out her last name. In this census he is listed as
William A. Russell. In the 1880 Census for Madison County, TX, he is listed there with Catherine. They lived there until he died in 1907 and she died in 1918. I think for the 1870 Census they were in the process of moving from MS to TX.

By the way, do you know anything about Opal Womack? She was researching Charity Ann on line until about 2 years ago and then nothing. I know that she had some info that she wanted to trade. I have left messages for her, but she has not responded. I hate to ask the question, but did she pass away?
