Wiley J. Cutts was born July 1852 in Winston Co, MS and died 1937 in Choctaw Co, MS. He was the son of Henry A. Cutts and Mary Ann Parks formerly of Bibb Co, AL and finally in Winston Co, MS. The grandson of William A. Cutts, Jr. & Catherine Avery of NC and later of Winston Co, MS. Wiley married Mary Ann Cobb on June 8, 1873 in Winston Co by Rev. B.H. Haygood and witnessed by Mary's father, Jacob Copp. Mary was born Feb 1857, died in 1937, and adopted by Jacob & Jane A. Copp.

Wiley is first listed on the 1880 Winston Co. Census, Township 13, Range 14. On the 1900 Winston Co. Census at Beat 2, page 294. And the 1910 Choctaw Co. Census Beat 5, page 115.

Wiley & Mary's children are: Lilia 'Lillie' J. (1874-1890) mar T.J. Sanders; Catherine 'Kitty' (b 1879); Emma (b 1881); Anna B. (b 1883); Billie (b 1884); Mattie (b 1889); Jacob Andrew Jackson (1891-1962) mar Eula Stedman; Wiley (1892-1976); James Lamon (1893-1961) mar Willie unknown; Maggie (b 1896); Robert Lee (1898-1961) mar Floy Liddell.

Wiley & Mary are buried at Chester Baptist Church Cemetery in Choctaw County, MS. NOTE: Wiley's headstone states his date of birth at 1850. He is listed in his father's HH on the 1860 Census indicating he was 8 years old thus making his correct birth year as 1852.
