YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Mr. Samuel Clarence Pulliam Jr., 81, departed this life on Friday, Dec. 22, 2017, at Essex House in Salem. (Ohio)
Mr. Pulliam was born Jan. 11, 1936, in Buena Vista, Mississippi, a son of Samuel C. and Virginia L. Swanson Pulliam Sr.
Samuel proudly served as a U.S. Marine.
He was the owner and operator of Pulliam Cleaning Service and was a member of the church.
Mr. Pulliam leaves his wife, the former Flora J. Johnson, whom he married May 31, 1958; children Lisha (Louis) Littlejohn and Stacey Pulliam, both of Youngstown; brother Jeffery H. Pulliam and niece Wendy Pulliam, both of Silver Springs, Md.; two grandchildren, Brittany and Briyanna; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, William R. Pulliam.
