Note: A single marker now broken lies nearby. Mr. Harbin, who now live on the place says that a “Big” Simon Turner (grandson of the Newells) said that after Lucretta died the sing stone that mark the grave of Camp P newell was pushed aside and replaced with the double marer that now stands. Only two graves in this cemetery.

Location: This family or community cemetery known as Heggie Cemetery is located about 5 miles east of Black Hawk and just north of Hwy 430. There are indications that there were many more burials that those having stones. Numerous sandstones are to be found in the cemetery.
