I am a descendant of a large number of early Carroll Co., families and am researching them all (Turner/Griswood/ Beck/Lott/King/Heath/Blackmon and all allied lines). Have enormous collection of data re: ZACHARIAH BLACKMON, who came to Carroll Co., ms in 1835 from Vicksburg and founded the community of Blackmonton( south of Carrollton and west of Vaiden).
