Antointte Rusdahl, various spellings,(Nettie) and her sister Hannah came to America from Norway in or around 1885. They had 5 brothers, Hoverson, who also immigrated, but am unsure if they traveled together. They settled first in the Chicago area. Nettie (my great grandmother) worked as a personal maid to the daughter of Marshall Fields. In 1891, she was summoned to Medo Township, Blue Earth Co.in Minnesota to marry a man, Albert Engebritson, chosen for her by her older brother, Thron(?). After Albert's death in 1917, she and her children, Louis, Esther and Ruth, moved to Proctor, MN. Her sister Hannah lived in Duluth on Piedmont Avenue and worked as a maid at the Glensheen Estate on London Road. I am looking for anyone who can help me connect with any descendants of this Hoverson family, some of whom settled in Minnesota.
