I am looking for any decendants of Sampson Dower an early pioneer of the Copper Country of Michigan. He worked at Cliff Mine 1854 to 1856, then moved to Ogima Mine in Ontonagon County until 1869. He then went to Duluth , Minn. and worked on the openning of Minnesota Point to the Duluth Lake. He then went to Staples , Minn. and went into the timber business starting with sales to the Northern Pasific Rail Road in 1870/1880.
