I saw your inquiry about the Veums. I am doing some work on the Ugulen family. Peder's father Lars homesteaded the land my Dad purchased from Lars' grandson Louis in Buffalo Co. WI in 1940. Louis and his common -law wife Bertha were like grandparents to me. I have a trunk with the name "Lars Olsen Kjos" on the front. Kjos was the farm Lars came from near Hafslo, Norway. I would like to find some of the Ugulen descendants. My mother's family came from the Hafslo area and settled in Buffalo Co. too.
