Margaret Juleen
Erickson, 91, of
Moose Lake died Saturday, June 6, 2009, in
Mercy Hospital,
Moose Lake.
She was born April 25, 1918, in Catawba,
Wisconsin, to
Anton and Josemina (
Haugdahl) Munson. Juleen attended high school in Amery,
Wisconsin, and later in St. Paul. Juleen was united in marriage to her first husband, Lorin Lee, on Oct. 11, 1941, in St. Paul. They lived in Fargo, St. Paul,
Alaska, Richfield, and
Pine City. Juleen was united in marriage to her second husband, Elmer
Erickson, on Nov. 27, 190, in
Duluth. Juleen and Elmer lived in Windemere Township. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of
Pine City. Juleen made her own birthday, anniversary and sympathy cards for many years. She was active in the Republican Party and was a wonderful hostess. Juleen was preceded in death by two husbands, Lorin Lee and Elmer Erickson; her parents, daughter, Loretta
Bolstad, and sister, Clarice Nelson.
Juleen is survived by her son, Peter (Audrey) Lee of Brownsville, Texas; stepchildren, Earl
Erickson of
Ham Lake, Marlys
Zinn of Brooklyn
Park, and Sally Wood-Larson of Blaine; grandchildren, Fred (Janet)
Bolstad of Wildwood,
Missouri, Eric (Jennifer)
Bolstad of Bakersfield, CA, Jonathan
Bolstad of Ft. Steward,
Georgia,
Heide (Robert)
Fleming of New
Berg,
Oregon, and Trildi (Rodger) Moore of Glendale, AZ; and several great grandchildren.
Visitation was Tuesday, June 9, from noon until the 1 p.m. service in Ev. Covenant Church,
Moose Lake. Interment was Wednesday, June 10, at 12 p.m. at Assembly Area #1 in
Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
Arrangements are with Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home,
Moose Lake.
