Thanks for the response. It would be great if we have a mutual relative that you can trace back to a specific farm in Norway.

I don't have death or birth certificates. However, through various sources (E.g., census records, gravestones, family records) I know the following about Caren (Karin) Holen, and the Holen side of her family:

NOTE: I've seen both spellings of her first name, but am confident that it is the same perosn as the records related to both spellings are consistent. Famly tradition uses Caren.
