I am interested in any Kennedy from Foreston, especially circa 1870 upwards, father was John Kennedy, mother was Philomene Lemay. They had 4 sons and 1 daughter. They started off in Foreston, Mille Lacs, MN, then moved to Melrose, Stearns County, MN. Daughter was Cecilia Kennedy, b. Dec 31 1899, d. Apr 6 1984, who became a nun with St. Benedict's, in St. Joseph, Stearns County, MN: name changed to Sister Leola. Last son was William Kennedy. He was living in Fargo, North Dakota at the time of Sister Leola's death in 1984. The father, John, also had 3 brothers: William, Peter, and Andrew. They were originally from northern Maine, before that from northwestern New Brunswick. Went to Minnesota circa 1870 or later. Any info on any descendants desired. Thanks!
