Indirectly researching a Friedrich & Bertha Lepel. Couple had two children born in Carver Co. MN. Baptized at St. John Lutherean, Hollywood Twp. Carver Co. Children: Johanne Marie Louise Lepel b. 4/10/1878 & baptized on 6/9/1878. Johann Emil Hermann Lepel b. 11/21/1880 & baptized 12/24/1880.
Can not find any info. on parent's or children. I also came across your Theodore in McLeod Co. MN census. Your thoughts on Theodore & Friedrich being brother's??
I am not 'after' Fred or Bertha Lepel, but rather after their children's baptismal sponsors. Augusta Hafemann is god-mother to Johanne, & Hermann Hafemann (Augusta's husband) is god-father to Johann.
Most times family members serve as sponsors/god-parent's and wonder if there is a connection between these Lepel's and my Hafemann family.
Fred and family do not show up dead or alive in Ancesty.
