Memorial services for Walter William Ward, 79, of Greeley Colo., formerly of Coon Rapids [MN], will take place July 29, 11 a.m., at the United Methodist Church in Lakefield [MN].
Ward died Jan. 5 in Greeley [CO]. He was born Feb. 14, 1920 in Lakefield [MN] to Monte and Marie (BARTZ) WARD. He served in the Army in Europe during World War II and worked for Cornelius in Anoka until he retired. He is survived by his sisters, Ethel SCHEPPMAN of Fairmont [MN] and Mabel VACURA of Jackson [MN]; daughter, Sharonlee SNYDER of Loveland, Colo.; sons, Terry WARD of Greeley, Colo., and Cody WARD of Princeton [MN]; eight grandchildren; and great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine; parents, Monte and Marie; sisters, Edna and Dorothy; brothers, Albert, Lee, Earl and Lyle. Arrangements were by Northern Co. Crematory.
