I am looking for any information in regard to my Grandmother Helen Haakenson. I believe she was born around 1888 and came to the U.S. from Norway as a child probably with her mother. She lived in the Lac Qui Parle, Dawson area as a child or young women. She often spoke fondly of that area.

She married Herbert A. Smith and lived in Frankfort,South Dakota for a while.
