No, I don't. I'm not related. I think you're already using the tools I use: Minnesota Official Marriage System (MOMS), Minnesota Historical Society birth and death indexes, Ancestry.com, Family Search, Find a Grave. Try Chronicling America (Library of Congress) for Princeton Minnesota newspaper stories. Use wildcards when parsing. The Minnesota marriages index is not complete, and her marriage may show up there at a later time. Beginning April 17 Ancestry.com is giving the gift of free access to marriage records for anyone.

Good luck!

Eleanor E. Maggart that died in Garden Grove, CA in 1973 is the daughter of Henry Maggart and Eleanor B. "Nellie" Cameron. Birth date matches the unnamed daughter born 25 Nov 1909.

So, Nellie did remarry after all. Any idea who the father of Pearl is?

Are you related?

That matches what I have. The 1909 birth is for Eleanor. With no children with Henry in 1920 I'm proceeding with suspicion they separated and she remarried bet. 1910-20. No sign of the children in 1920, even living with relatives but Eleanor reappears later im life.

Thank you for the lookup and help answering my question. Knowing who someone isn't is just as valuable in my book.

David Maggart appears at Princeton, Mille Lacs in 1920 living with his parents, declaring himself a widower. No children with him. He remarried in 1926 and later divorced.

Are they any Eleanor or Nellie Maggart's married around Mille Lacs between 1910 and 1920? Probability is high they divorced and he just claimed she was dead.

Good Morning,
I researched Nellie C. Cameron at the Itasca County Courthouse on Thursday April 11 2013.
Here is the data I collected:
Name: Nellie C. Cameron,
Female,
White,
Married,
DOB August 13, 1891 in Minnesota
DOD January 2, 1920; 28 years 5 months 18 days
Occupation: L & wf
Cause of Death: Septicalmia- miscarriage; duration 9 days
Father: born Sweden, Gust Beckman
Mother: born Norway, Mary Peterson
Attending: S.S. Cameron
Funeral Home: Peterson Goodwin
registrar: J.W. Wassen Coleraine, Coleraine Village

I don't believe this is your Nellie since birth date and parents names do not match with the other information.
I did search for Nellie Maggart also in the death register at court house and there was none listed.

FYI: Maggart is a name that comes from around the Northome area which is in Koochiching County MN just to the North of Itasca County

Since no volunteer has been able yet to look at the original, I'll post the following.

====================================

Minnesota Official Marriage System Online

Sidney S Cameron married Nellie Beckman 1/6/1917 Itasca County Minnesota

S S Cameron married Jessie M Zink 6/9/1928 Itasca County

===================================

One birth in Minnesota Birth Index to Cameron mother maiden name Beckman - 1917

Three births in Minnesota Birth Index to Cameron mother maiden name Zink - 1929 to 1933

===================================

It seems likely the death record you found is for Sidney's wife.

===================================

Unless Nellie Cameron and Henry David Maggart divorced, she should be listed under her married name in a death certificate. I checked Minnesota marriage index for a remarriage for her, under both her surnames. Nothing comes up.

Nellie and Henry Maggart married 2/5/1908 in Mille Lacs County Minnesota and had a child in that county on 25 NOV 1909 (no first name of child given, must be Thelma). I don't see another birth for them at Minnesota Historical Society birth index, but Eleanor appears in the 1910 census.

1910
Mille Lacs COunty, Minnesota
Henry D Maggart 23
Nellie B Maggart 21
Thelma E Maggart 1
Elenor Maggart age 0

We have come across new information after Dad died in 2006 that Chief Busticogan actually died on March 3rd, 1910, not March 9th, as he had noted in his noted in his book based upon earlier information. This date has been corrected in the current copies of his book (available at the Itasca County Historical Society and at Effie Cafe).

I suspect Nellie C. Cameron, who died in Itasca county 02 Jan 1920 is one of my relatives and I was hoping someone could do a lookup of her death cert to see if her age, parents and/or husband are listed.

The Nellie Cameron I'm searching for was born May 1887 in Isanti County, the daughter of Johnson Cameron and Florence Nightengale Thomas. She married Henry David Maggart circa 1907 and had 2 children that I'm aware of: Thelma E. Maggart a.1908 and Eleanor E. Maggart in a.1909. Henry David Maggart was listed a widower on the 1920 census.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Minnesota, Death Index (1908-2002)
Name: Nellie C.
The bride and groom acquired their marriage license in Itasca County, Grand Rapids, Mn. With that license, they had the latitude to marry anywhere they chose. It may be that the Itasca Co. court house was close to their residence and more convenient and yet married in St. Louis Co. for some reason. In addition, I am not certain on the spelling of the witness as "Gill". I spelled it as it sounded phonetically as that but there may be another spelling so please keep that in mind.
If you need add'l. help, just ask.
WAKEFIELD, SMITH, AH WAHSE SEENCE, BLOOMQUIST, McCARTHY

I am researching the family of Edward P Wakefield and Martha Smith. Their sixth child was born Oct 25 1902 in Aitken Co, MN. I don't know other 5 siblings names.

There is no first name on her birth certificate but I believe she is Clara. I think she had two daughters:

1. June Gladys Wakefield born 1921 who married Gerald Bloomquist, they may have had 3 children.

2. Ruth

Clara married William McCarthy and they lived in Cloquet, MN. Clara and William are buried at New Calvary Cemetery, Cloquet. Clara died 1959. Want to get in touch with her daughter's family members. William McCarthy is my great uncle.

I am willing to exchange information. Thanks

rosemwc@yahoo.com

John Mike was living in Washington when Earl Clarence left home according to Loura- daughter of Clarissa "Clara" Amanda Wooster and Emil Tuenge (husband 2)). She stated that Earl went to Washington because his father was there, she also stated that from what she understood he had other siblings there as well. I hope that is helpful. I also have the "story" that was passed down regarding what happened to John Mike.

It is a photo taken in 1917. We, meaning our family was given prints from Uncle Erik, he gave them to us when we were visiting him in 1967. Uncle Erik was a photographer and had a shop in Bovey. The man in the picture is a Mr. Wilden. Uncle Erik took the photo to a convention in the 1930's were it received recognition.It was copyrighted and he produced some pictures in his own studio. He then sold the copyright and it took off from there. Uncle Erik passed away Nov 1968.
