Steven J. Kotchen, born July 4, 1958, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, died June 25, 2003 in Cathedral City, California. Preceded in death by grandparents, Ellen Kotchen, Carl & Lorine O'Rourke; aunt, Rose Marie Hallum; uncle, Robert Cigard Jr.

Survived by partner, Michael Jandt, Cathedral City, CA. Beloved son of John & Patricia Kotchen, Roseville; beloved brother of Scott & Mary, Fridley, Stuart, Mpls, Patrick & Melissa, Rogers, Thomas & Jessica, Coon Rapids; beloved uncle to John and Daniel, Fridley; Briana and Jenna, Rogers; beloved grandson of Cyril Kotchen, St. Anthony. Also survived by the extended family of Ted & Loretta Day, Fridley, MN.

Services to be held in California. One of our firecrackers has reached the heavens to shine for eternity. Steve, may the Good Lord hold you in the palm of His hand until we're all together again. Until then, we all hold you in our hearts.
