Clare,....Did I ever get back to you about the Jordal Family? I would be interested in anything you have on them. Where 'out east' are there more Jordals? My husband and I,and two of our kids will be driving out east this week-end. We try to go out to the east coast every summer,and my daughter is looking at some colleges.Just to remind you,my grandfather was Herbert Jordal,son of Butler Halvor Jordal,who was born in Norway.Almost all of his decendants live here near Minneapolis,Mn.
