William McLelland married Sarah Johnson in 1835 in New Brunswick, Canada before moving to Fosyth. He was there with his family in 1860.
Children:
John, Sarah, Nancy, William, Margaret, Eliza, Alfred, Ellen, Charles and Harriet.

In 1870 and 1880 they were in Hartland, Freeborn, Minnesota. William died in 1892. Sarah was living with her daughter Harriet Beede Gardner in Shell Lake, Washburn, Wisconsin in 1900. She probably died soon thereafter. I haven't found a trace of her in the death index for Wisconsin though up to 1907.
