My grandfather (Harry O. Nichols) was born to Dan Nichols and Martha Louise Groppel in 1900 in Faribault County. His father's father was Daniel Webster Nichols, m. Elizabeth McColley.

Daniel Webster Nichols was the son of Laura Cooper and Ethelbert Nichols. He was born in Wisconsin in the late 1840's.

I am trying to find out if Daniel Webster Nichols had any siblings that moved to Faribault County about the same time he did (around the civil war era). I believe (although I can't prove it yet) that he had a sister, Amy, that married Chester Morehouse.

If anyone has any connections, ideas, etc. please let me know.
