I am hoping someone here may be able to help me figure this out.

I'm helping a friend research her family and I'm either stuck or confused (naw~~ I think I'm both).

I'm looking for Marie Elizabeth who was born February 19, 1911 in Alexandria area. The problem I have is that everything I have found, has her maiden as Neilsen or Nelson. The parents I have found listed are Nils K. Neilsen and Maria Andersen. The family I'm helping insists these are her aunt and uncle and not birth parents. I've been told the biological father's last name was Hemmenway. I have yet to even find a Hemmenway connected to her at all. The census records I have looked at all say "daughter" and not "step or adopted." Her sons death record lists her maiden name as Neilsen.

Is there anyone here who can take a look at the birth record and see what information is listed for parents? I'm not sure what to do in this case.....I do know they may be wrong with believing they are not her parents but they may be right.
