Hi!

I´m looking for a relative on my mothers side that emigrated to USA in 1800.

His name was Johan Jonasson, but he changed his name to Palmqvist before he left Sweden.
Johan was born 1847-08-19 in Dädesjö as the youngest son to Jonas Petersson and Katarina Petersdotter.
He also had two older siblings that also emigrated, Peter Magnus Palmqvist born: 1835-04-22 and Johanna Jonasdotter born: 1843-12-18.
According to the swedish church records from Nottebäck, it is said that Peter Magnus died in Minnesota 1880-09-06.

According to Emigranten Populär, 1783-1951, Johan left Sweden in 1880-04-03 with the destination North Branch.

Any information regarding Johan, Peter Magnus or Johanna is much appreciated.
