I'd say Bendix died in Chippewa Co. MN but I didn't find his death info.
1885 Rosewood, Rosewood, Chippewa, Wisconsin
Martin A. Gaare, 15
Ingebor, b. Norway, 54
It looks like Bendix died in Wisconsin. The Chippewa County Recorder has birth & death records starting in 1870.
1900 Kennan, Price, Wisconsin
Martin Gaare, b. WI May 1870, M3yrs, day laborer
Mary, b. IA Jan 1875, 2/2 ch
John E., b. MN Oct 1897
Blanche N., b. WI Dec 1899
Looks like Ingbor was deceased too by 1900.
I'd contact the County Recorder for a copy of Bendix's death record. Then you can look up his death notice and where he was buried might be in his death record.
You can contact the West Central Minnesota Historical Research Center, https://library.morris.umn.edu/collections/west-central-minn...
for a copy of his death notice. They also might have his death record. Successful Searching!
