Strictly speaking this information appears to be slightly incorrect.
Chester of this record was named Arthur at his birth to John and Christine in early 1890s. There was another Chester Borene in that same locality, and at one time (shown as 13 years old in the 1895 MN State census) in that same household, but he was born about 10 years earlier in the early 1880s.
The older Chester married Lydia Peterson in 1908 and the couple moved to Clearwater County MN in 1920. They are buried together there in Clearwater County.
Arthur evidently was also known as Chester, and married Charlotte Norton sometime in 1917 or thereabouts. Arthur and Charlotte are shown in the 1920 census as parents of Arthur J. Borene, aged 2. Ten years later that same couple is shown in the 1930 census as Chester Arthur and Charlotte Borene with son John age 12, and three more children; Ione, Clayton and Evelyn. Arthur's parents John and Christine Borene are shown as living in the adjoining residence.
