Hi All,

I am searching for info on CARL REETZ. I just learned that he homesteaded land in RENVILLE County, Minnesota. The BLM document for was dated November 10, 1882. I had originally thought he was in Brown County, Minnesota

But my Grandmother says that she was born in Brown County, so I am posting here too.

Carl was married to BERTHA REETZ. They came from either Germany or Prussia.

Their children: August REETZ, Adolf, Herman, Robert, Tina, Augusta, Martha and Alvina REETZ. Born in the late 1800's.

August married BERTHA EWALD and had the following children: Verna, Arnold and Eldon. When Bertha died, August married her sister, LYDIA EWALD.

Martha REETZ married William DEPKEY. Their children were:

Amelia, Marie, Elmer & Freda DEPKEY.

Adolph REETZ married Hulda and had the following children:

Florence & Elmer REETZ.

Herman REETZ married Tina and had the following children:

Sophie, Irene, Dorothy & Lester REETZ.

Robert REETZ married Lydia and had the following children:

Floyd, Natalie, MArgaret, Boy & Girl REETZ.

Tina REETZ married John GLUTH and had the following children:

Raymond, Clarence, Buddy and Nina & Birth GLUTH.

Augusta REETZ married Herman SCHULTZ and had:

Cora, Wilburt and Evelyn SCHULTZ.
