Brede was an uncle of my grandmother and lived 1865-1941. The DOD for Brede is listed as 2/12/1941, while Christina's DOD is 5/28/1937. According to US Census, the couple lived in Shotley as of 1930. They both died in Beltrami County. They had no kids as far as we know. Brede was of Norwegian decent, while Christina was originally from Sweden.
We do have quite a few letters from Brede describing life in his new country. I would be very interested in gathering any additional information, places they might have lived, workplaces, cemetery inscriptions, etc.
