?? The family you describe is below in the 1910 census. You are asking whether this Albert lived previously in Clay County and Otter Tail County? Who was "your" Albert's father?

Online transcription of the 1913 death record of Albert in does not include his parents name or date of birth; the original probably does. More than one Albert Hendrickson died in Becker County.

HENDRICKSON, ALBERT
Date of Birth: NA
Place of Birth: NA
Mother Maiden Name: NA
CERTID# 1913-MN-000342
Date of Death: 14 APR 1913
County of Death: BECKER

1910 US CENSUS
Becker County, Minnesota
Severt Hendrickson 54
Hendrick Hendrickson 80
Erick Hendrickson 50
Albert Hendrickson 22 (born about 1888)
Martha Erickson 44
Andrew Erickson 37
Alma Erickson 5
Hekla Erickson 3

A Lutheran boy born in about 1888 would probably be confirmed about 1902. I don't see Albert in Otter Tail County in 1900 US census nor in 1905 Minnesota state census (albeit his name could be spelled a number of ways that I did not parse). See Minnesota Historical Society>Family History>Census. www.mnhs.org

Some members of the Hendrickson family above (in 1910) are buried at Richwood Lutheran Church, Detroit Lakes, Becker, Minnesota. On Find a Grave, Albert Hendrickson is not shown buried there.
LINK:
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gsr&GSsr=1...;

Minnesota Marriage index online is not complete. No Albert Hendrickson getting married in Clay County or Otter Tail County; several get married in Becker County (after 1913). We'd need original certificates to compare parent names and dates of birth to see who is who.

We don't know who you are looking for - date of birth, parents, or siblings.

I am new to doing this online - so still mostly have paper info. Let me know if I can be of help.

Does anyone remember this family consisting of Sivert, his father Hendrick Hendrickson with whom a nephew lived. His name was Albert Hendrickson who died in 1913 in Hamden Township. I am trying to see if Albert was the same Albert who orginally lived in Tansem township of Clay County and was confirmed at North Immanuel Church in Norwegian Grove in Otter Tail County. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, you may already have this information, my uncle Otto Becker married one of Margaret Mariah Reeder/Kelting's daughers (Margaret Kelting, my Aunt Maggie), who later lost both legs because of sugar diabetes. She gave birth to Jess Becker, Evelyn Becker, and Arthur Becker, there was another son but I don't know exactly what the problem was with him...he is only to be found in a couple of records and then suddenly disappeared it seems. I think he had some mental problems. I remember going to visit Uncle Otto and Aunt Maggie a few times...seemed like he was a quiet type person. He had a glass eye and that scared my sis and I, so we kind of stayed to ourselves.
I think you and I had contact a while back..so you probably know this info. My name is Shirley Lampson, my brother Don, and sis Norma and I used to play with the Becker boys. (Actually, it was Fred and Ray), Leone and Jess Becker were their parents. Hope this helps a little.
Shirley Renwick/Lampson

Just read your inquiry. I am the granddaughter of Daniel Hanson. Started to research the family about 3 years ago. I have the history of the family back to Denmark in 1590. Susie was alive when Brynjulf sent you mother Ida and her sister Otillia back to Norway. She died in 1931. Daniel and Aunt Alice were to go to Norway also but cried and fussed and ran away from the depot. Also have info in the Hanson siblings. I would like to share the history and learn more about your arm of the family. I have some from a cousin.

I just came across this information on the Cliffords and the post office today. What a great surprise. Thanks for those ahead of me in the research. Please keep the postings coming. I own the farm now that once was owned by the Cliffords, and my parents (Mildred and Chester Tangen) lived in the house that was originally the Clifford post office (as far as the stories I remember as a kid). I was prompted to search for info on the post office again, as I reviewed the land abstract and saw the Clifford name time and again. Any more info relating to the post office is greatly appreciated.

I am trying to locate some information on the Herfindahl family of Lake Park, Becker County, Minnesota. In particular, I'm hoping to find obituaries for Kari Herfindahl, John Herfindahl, John A. Herfindahl, and Anders O. Herfindahl.

I believe that Kari is a direct ancestor, and I'm trying to determine the connection of the other Herfindahls to my ancestor - another John A. Herfindahl, who moved from Lake Park, Minnesota to North Dakota, and then to Canada. Kari was living with my direct ancestor in the 1895 and 1905 Minnesota State Censuses. I am hoping that obituaries (if any exist) may help me piece together the connection between these people.

According to the Find a Grave website, Kari died in 1907 and is buried in Lake Park Cemetery. However, when I searched the death index, a Karie Hefindahl died 17 Apr 1909.

John Herfindahl's date of death on Find a Grave is listed as 1934, and he is buried in Lake Park Cemetery. According to the death certificate index he died 1 Nov 1934.

John A. Herfindahl shows up in the Find a Grave listing twice - 19 Oct 1923 and 21 Oct 1923. There is a death certificate for a John Herfindahl for 21 Nov 1923.

Anders O. Herfindahl is buried in Lake Park, and the date of death given on Find a Grave is Jul 24, 1943. I can't locate a death certificate for him.

I would truly appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks so much!

Could some kind soul do some checking of records for me on Wm V and Mary Davis who lived at Detroit, Becker, MN on the 1875 state census. They have a daughter Eva J. and son Ralph.

What I am mos tinterested in is the background of both Wm V and Mary, how long and/or when they were married.

This couple disappears on me; then I find in Moorhead, Clay 1885 Wm V Davis married to Lavina and they have Eva J. same birth year with them. I am suspicious that Mary died, possibly in Bcker County.

Did Wm and Mary marry in Becker?
Did Mary died in Becker?
Did Wm marry Lavina in Becker?

Thank you, Jeanine
Hi!

I´m looking for a family of immigrants that left Sweden in 1868 to travel to USA. They were:
*Per Andersson, 1819
*Karin Olsdotter, 1836
*Per, 1852
*Jonas, 1855
*Olof, 1857
*Kerstin, 1858
*Lars, 1860
*Erik, 1864
*Swen, 1866

I think they lived in Becker because in 1901 Karins brothers daugther immigrates to the US to live whit Karin and writes that she lives in Becker. Karin then has the last name Åberg or Aberg.

Does anyone know anything about this family?

Thanks
//Frida

Hallo,

Weitere Nachricht sehr gerne an aoedbauer@yahoo.de. Gerne versuche ich eine Antwort in Englisch, ich bin aber schon etwas aus der Übung.
Herzliche Grüße
Alfred (Hermann Georg) Oedbauer

I have a family Bible belonging to the family of Karl Fridrich (sic) Heinrich Wagner, born 1863 in Loitz, Germany, and Katy Eidenshinck, born 1870, who raised their family in Detroit, Minnesota. (I assume that's the same as Detroit Lakes.)The family was Catholic and they were married in that town by Fr. Ignatius Tomazin.

I'm not looking to sell it, but I'll happily give it to a family member who's interested in it. I haven't had any success with a cursory search for any of Karl and Katy's children on the various genealogy sites. If anyone knows a member of the Wagners' family who would be interested in this Bible, please e-mail me at jbmartin [at] nwi [dot] net.
