I am looking for Ferdinand Morgan born abt 1835, OH
Married Matilda Russell at Caro Tuscola MI.

I found him in the 1860 census, he joins the war and disappears.

Enlistment Date: 31 Jul 1862
Side Served: Union
State Served: Michigan
Service Record: Enlisted as a Private on 31 July 1862.
Enlisted in Company D, 23rd Infantry Regiment Michigan on 12 Sep 1862.
