Adaline (nee Clark)born about 3 Dec 1829 died 1913, buried in Maple Hill Cemetery in Wexford County Cadillac MI. She was the wife of Holden Nathaniel Green born 3 Dec 1829 and died 12 Nov 1895 also buried with wife above in said cemetery.
Both were born in New York, Holden in Yates County, Adaline County unknown.
To complicate matters,the engraved head stone reads "Esther Barnes 1805-1885 Mother of A. Green".Second complication, a fellow researcher wrote that Adaline mother's name was Charry Clark. I have Adaline Clark on two census that Esther Barnes is the mother of Adaline Green while the other census states mo-in-law. We know from family history in our possession that she was Adaline CLARK. However, there could have been an adoption.
Does anyone have any ideas...because records are so old its been impossible to find anything in NY.
