The Social Security Death Index is the only was I forund him. I requsted and received a copy, and he listed his name as Arthur. Since he was a policeman in Detriot in 1930, I would assume he would have a Social Security number also, probally in the name of Arch or Archie.
He applied for the Social Security number in Newark New Jersey latter.
The Library here in St. Louis has no Detroit material.
