Does anyone know anything about the George Faust who married into this family?
As a youngster, I attended Durfee Junior High School in Detroit. George Faust was the name of one of the gym teachers, who was also my homeroom teacher during my three years in this school. The name caught my eye, and I was just wondering if this was the same person. It's funny what you come across on the Ancestry Boards.
The name Hintz is also familiar to me, as my mother had a disability and had to wear custom made shoes, which were made by the Hintz brothers, who owned the New York Custom Shoe Shop. These are names from my childhood in Detroit, so I just thought I would ask.
