it has been some time since my last post to this forum.
I now ask if any of you might have a connection or any information relating to these following people.
Manville T. Pike and Amanda Mingus
Mary (OH-MI) married to Fitch Herbert Staffinger then to Anthony Garcia Chavez. Died California. Member DAR.
Maude (pos. OH-MI) married to Ed Rouse, I believe they lived in Benzonia MI (near Crystal Lake) had made and sold Maple syrup and then sold Cherries.
June (OH-MI) married Ambrose Beaver who was an Electrician at the Detroit Union Station, I believe they may have lived in Lincoln Park, MI.
Vera married Thomas Dougherty who worked in the baggage room.
Florence (OH-MI) married Eben Wright.
They lived in Sharkey Town (?) they had at least one child that I know of Ruth Wright who married Dewey Frye.
Fannie (OH-MI) married Thomas Stock and they lived in Gladwin, where I am told that they had a haberdashery (sp?).
Also there was at least one son
Manville (also spelled Mansville) T. Pike.
I have no information on him.
Then there is Clarence Pike who was a rr carrier for the postoffice in Gladwin and also ran a barber shop.
I am not sure who he is.
Also another Amanda Pike (not the wife of Manville) who also was in Gladwin.
I would love to hear from anyone who might have more information on these people.
I have no time frames unfortunately, however I can tell you this much.
Mary was my great grandmother and my father was born in 1922.
I hope to hear from someone,
Thank you in advance
