I am based in the UK and am carrying out research for a biography relating to a noted US literary figure. As the cost of research is mounting after several years' research, I wondered if anybody on the Message Board might be in a position to carry out two lookup requests for me in whichever Detroit newspaper you would consider to be the most useful for local marriage notices or obituaries (Freep?). The details are as follows:

OBITUARY
- David Frank TYLER (died Detroit, 26 Dec 1949, aged 63 years)

MARRIAGE NOTICE
- Grace Eleanor TYLER to John Reed MCGOWAN (married Detroit, 26 Jun 1951)

I have exhausted most possibilities for locating a photograph of David Frank TYLER, and hoped an obituary could carry a photograph. Regardless of this, I would still want a copy of both the obituary and the marriage notice.

Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.
