I have exhausted all internet resources known to me to find what became of my Great Aunt Hattie. She gave birth to a daughter in April 1917, who was adopted by a Wayne County couple sometime between 1920 (census) and 1930 (census). since I can find no record of Hattie after 1917, I am working on the assumption that she died--and this is why the child was given up for adoption.
I wish to find Hattie's date, place, circumstances of death, and her place of burial. Is there anyone who could check local county death records for her? I am not even sure of her last name at this time. Her last known husband was in the Detroit area until his death in 1930 but I am not certain whether he was the father of the child born in 1917 or even still Hattie's husband at the time. Older family members seem to think she married many times.
