My great-great uncle was Casper William Schneier (born 18 June 1884 in Seventy-Six, Perry County, MO and died 6 September 1953 in St. Louis City, MO).

A marriage notice appeared in the Perry County (Missouri) Republican on 30 October 1913. It stated that he was married “last week” in Detroit, MI. His wife's name was not mentioned.

World War Draft Registration Card proves that he was still living in Detroit, MO as of 21 September 1918. His next of kin was listed as one of his sisters in St. Louis, MO and NOT his wife.

Does any one have access to Detroit marriage and divorce records who might be able to find out the exact date of marriage, who he married and/or if divorced, when?
