If you live near the Livonia Civic Center Library on 5 Mile road, they have the Detroit City Directory for 1910 on microfilm. I think the directory has the ward/district boundaries it in. If you could find him in the directory and then use the wards to limit the area, you might be able to find him that way. Or, he might just have been missed. The library has the ancestry library edition.

Or you could try emailing the library to see if someone would do a look up in the directory. I don't know if all the staff in the reference department is aware that there are microfilms of some years of the Detroit City Directory but the head of the adult reference service should-name is Carl.

There is a Fred Saunders born in NY, age 21, parents Germany/German on the 1910 census. ED 117, page 8 A. Lives on Wabash in Detroit.
