I don't think that the church is out of the area by too much. I think it is a local name for an area like Fritz corners or something like that within a community. They were going by horse and wagon. They lived near the area of Telegraph and Van Born Rd and were then living in the villiage of Dearborn which is about 3 miles north. It is so frustrating trying to find these little local names of places. I thought maybe someone on the message boards might have heard the name of Summerville before. I had found it in the Michigan Place books too and discounted it.
