Morell Goodrich b. February 14, 1812 Conway, Massachusetts came to MI ca 1827 with his father Chauncey and mother Achsah Huxford. Married Elizabeth Tromper/Tremper in Scio 1849. Children: Josephine, George, Sarah, Jane, Mary all born in the 1850s. Served in the 4th Michigan Infantry for 3 years during the Civil War. Died August 14, 1898 in Dexter and is buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Dexter with no marker. Looking for a living descendant who can aid in obtaining a free or nearly free Civil War marker for him.
