Classification: Query
Surnames: Goodrich Huxford Coy
Morell Goodrich b. February 14, 1812 Conway, Massachusetts came to MI ca 1827 with his father Chauncey and mother Achsah Huxford. Married Elizabeth Tromper/Tremper in Scio 1849. Children: Josephine, George, Sarah, Jane, Mary all born in the 1850s. Served in the 4th Michigan Infantry for 3 years during the Civil War. Died August 14, 1898 in Dexter and is buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Dexter with no marker. Looking for a living descendant who can aid in obtaining a free or nearly free Civil War marker for him. Contact the poster or Lionview at aol dot com (make obvious substitutions). All the preparatory work has been done, but the government now requires a descendant to request the marker. We don't need additional information about him, we need a living descendant. If you want to make other queries or supply additional details use email. Responses should only be clues to descendants.
