Doug passed away suddenly Sunday, November 15, 2009 in Paw Paw. He was born March 28, 1955 in La Porte, IN the son of Howard and Lesta (Zerber) Ribordy. He was employed at the First Presbyterian Church in Paw Paw where he was also an active member. He was a member of the Paw Paw Lions Club and Parents Without Partners. Surviving are his children Nicholas (Amanda) Ribordy of West Lafayette, IN and Leah (Derek) Johnson of La Porte, IN; a grandson, Jeffrey Johnson; his mother Lesta Ribordy of La Porte ; three sisters, Linda (Phil) White of Toledo, OH, Susan Brenc of Wheaton, IL and Sandra (Terry) Lee of La Porte, IN; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 5-8 PM. EST at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw. Services will be held at 11 AM EST Friday at the First Presbyterian Church, Paw Paw, Rev. Tom Abbott officiating. Burial will follow in Door Village Cemetery, La Porte, IN.
