Passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Harold was born August 1, 1918, in Bloomingdale Township to Adam and Gertie Beach and resided in the Gobles, Bloomingdale area all of his life. Harold spent most of his life in Law Enforcement as Chief of Police for the City of Gobles, a Deputy for the Van Buren County Sheriff's Department and Allegan County Sheriff's Department. On July 14, 1940, Harold married Hannah M. Rowe of Watson Township. Together they had one son, Howard (Nancy) of Gobles; two grandsons, Brian (Heather) Beach of Bloomingdale, David Beach of Gobles; one great granddaughter, Hannah J. Beach; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife in November of 1995. The family will meet friends Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the

where funeral services will be held Friday at 2 PM, Pastor Herb Curry officiating. Interment Robinson Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Southwest Michigan.
