MARSCEAU, Kathleen "Kaye"
Passed into the Lord's presence on Thursday, May 28, 2009 after a long battle with Parkinsons Disease. A long-time resident of Lawrence, MI, and also of Kalamazoo, she had been residing in the care of her daughter and son-in-law in Charlotte, NC. Kaye was born Febuary 26, 1929 to Chester and Nellie (Russell) Osborn in Brooks, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Eugene Marsceau, and a son, Gene' Marsceau. Surviving are two sisters, Bernice York of Soldotna, AK, and Shirley O'Donnell of Palmer, AK. Also surviving are four children, Kathleen (Howard) Merrell, Covington, VA, Dawn (James) Luchene, Charlotte, NC, Philip Marsceau, Kalamazoo, MI, Van (Janet) Marsceau, Shenandoah Junction, WV; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to being a loving mother, she loved God above all, and served Him faithfully her entire life through Christian camp ministries, Child Evangelism Fellowship, Sunday school ministries, as church organist, and as pastor's wife at four churches. "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." Psalm 116:15. After a private interment at Prospect Cemetery in Lawrence Township, a memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, June 1, 2009 at Lawrence Bible Baptist Church, Lawrence, MI.
