Died Wednesday, July 15 at home. He was born October 12, 1928 in Hart, Michigan to Peter and Elizabeth (Verbitsky) Macyauski. Albert served his country in the U.S. Army from 1951 - 1953. He married Colleen M. Blackmer on June 29, 1957. He had a lifelong career in the food processing business, retiring in 1993 from Comstock Michigan Fruit. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Hartford. He served in the American Legion, as commander and Chaplin. Albert also served in the Lawrence Lions Club for 30 years, holding position as: Club President, Zone and Regional Chairman, and Director Governor. He is survived by his wife of 52 years - Colleen M. Macyauski of Lawrence, Michigan. Five children - Mike Macyauski of Paw Paw, Michigan, Mary (Chet) Kendell of Rexburg , Idaho, Paul (Mary) Macyauski of South Haven, Michigan, Tom (Julie) Macyauski and John (Melissa) Macyauski both of Lawrence, Michigan. 11 grandchildren. one sister - Bernice Livckey of Ludington, Michigan also survives. Visitation will be Monday, July 20, from 5:30 - 7:30 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Hartford. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, July 21, at 11:00 AM at the church. Committal services will take place at Hart Cemetery in Hart, Michigan on Wednesday, July 22 at 11:00 AM. Military Honors will be presented at the cemetery.
