Passed away Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence, Kalamazoo. Jane was born August 17, 1917 in Bloomingdale where she has lived most of her life. She was involved with the American Red Cross and in 2002, along with her husband, George Jr., was named Bloomingdale Citizen of the Year. Jane was also actively involved with the Bloomingdale Historical Society, the remodeling of the Depot, and many other local activities. She was an active member of the Bloomingdale Methodist Church and a former Sunday School teacher; she also volunteered at the V.A. Medical Center in Battle Creek. Surviving are a daughter, Pamela (Stan) Rimkus of Gobles; one granddaughter, Tiffany (Chris) Quatermus of Plainwell; one grandson, Rich Rimkus of Gobles; and two great-grandchildren, Kristen and Ryan Quatermus. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Jr. in 2004. The family will meet friends on Tuesday from 5 - 8 PM at the

where services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday with Pastors David Youngs and Gene Moore officiating. Interment will be in Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta at 2:30 PM Wednesday. The family suggest memorials to the Bloomingdale United Methodist Church.
