Anne passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 6, 2009, surrounded by her family at LakeView Community Hospital, Paw Paw. Anne was born June 27, 1948 in Kalamazoo the daughter of the late Thomas and
Nola (
Emmons)
Brady. Anne was a teacher's aide at the
Learning Tree in Paw Paw until her retirement. She loved cooking, gardening, sewing and bird watching. Above all, she loved being a grandmother to her grandchildren. On December 5, 1969 in Kalamazoo, Anne was united in marriage to Ronald R. VerHage who survives. Also surviving are a son, JohnPaul (Erin)
VerHage of St. Joseph; daughter, Melanie (Jeff)
Gless of Vicksburg; six grandchildren, T.J., Cole, Andrew,
Molly,
Savannah and Brady; brother, Jack (Linda)
Brady of Portage; two sisters, Janie (Bob)
Steffler of Kalamazoo and Denise
Brady of Kalamazoo; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister,
Susie Porter and a brother, Tim
Brady. Family will receive friends, Friday 5 to 7 PM at the
Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held on Saturday, 11 AM. Interment will follow in
Oak Grove Cemetery in
Lawton. Friends are invited to a luncheon at Antwerp Township
